All the new Captivas are available in automatic transmission. The new Captiva 7 is also available in two wheel drive and all wheel drive. The new Captiva 5 is also available now in turbo diesel, whereas before this is not available in Captiva 5. Captiva 5 is also more spacious now and has quieter cabins. When it comes to performance, it shows superior handling and is more powerful.
Of course, when it comes to safety, the new Captiva is better. They now have six airbags on all models. It is also improved with is electric park break and roll away is no longer a problem with its Hill Start Assist technology. And when it comes to embracing the latest in technology, the new Captiva allows for wireless streaming of music and Bluetooth connectivity on all the models. With such improvement on all the models, buyers of either the Captiva 7 or Captiva 5 will not want for anything more for their SUV.
And with these improvements it is expected that Holden will again be one of the leaders in SUV in Australian market. And with the price of the new Captiva, competitors will surely have a tougher time competing with the 2012 Holden Series II Captiva.
