Using Potty Training Charts
Using Potty Training Charts
There has always been discussion on whether to reward or not to reward a young child, not only for using or not using the potty, but for other things he/she does or does not do. The question started from the fact that rewarding a child with candy or toys or other objects given might damage the child. As a consequence individuals have come up with potty training reward charts which have the effect of encouraging and praising the child not 'bribing', and as a result damaging, the youngster.

Potty Training[/caption] Some reckon that if instead of trying out potty training reward charts you decide on using candy or other things, the child will maybe develop deviant behaviour. He/she will only act if given the reward.
Besides potty training reward charts, you might also consider using other types of incentives to help your child reach the potty training targets. Read your child a story or let them flush the toilet. Whatever, no matter what you have in your head to reward the child don't forget that they don't need to be elaborate or costly.
