Recession? Not For The Baby Boomer Travelers

Baby Boomers Crave Exciting Vacations

Recession? What recession? Us baby boomers out there and we are traveling baby! 11 million of us, yes you read the right, 11 million  of us plan to travel the planet over the next  5 years. And what's more, we are no longer satisfied with beachfront hotels, shopping, sunbathing and dinner at 8!  No, we need much more excitement than that. These days our vacations might include  scuba diving, off roading,  ziplining, getting down at a music festival and flying (and I don't mean in first class, I mean in the pilot seat) We boomers prefer bungee jumping and ballooning to bridge and bingo.

We have worked hard for a long time and now we plan to kick back and to kick ass! For us, travel is a at the top of our "to do" list,  more than spending times with friends going to the gym and finding ways of staying healthy. We see ourselves as adult teenagers who want to have fun ass opposed to seniors. Whether it be a weekend in London, with a trip to Rome thrown in, or two weeks in Santorni, We plan on seeing the world and doing it with style.

We also have come to to expect the best, yes we might go camping, but the tent will be top notch and the view outstanding. Oh and whatever you do, don't try to "herd" us. Come at us with anything that resembles a cattle prod and you might find yourselves with that prod in a place where the sun don't shine, get the picture? We are special and expect to be treated that way.

We weren't born yesterday so don't try to outsmart us, we have done our research and found the best deal at the best price (yes we still like to find discounts) but quality is more important.  We like the creature comforts, love  things that save us time, and what's more, we can afford to pay for it.

Baby boomers are unlike any other generation of the same age group. You'd better believe that 60 is the new 40. We plan on being around for a long time and spending that time having a grand ol' time, so either get with it or get out of our way cos we are on the move!

Because I too am one of this elite group, is one of the reasons that I specialize in boomer travel. Please contact me or visit my travel website next time you are planning a vacation. Whether it be an African safari or an Alaskan cruise. Us boomers sure know how to party.
