Know The Things that Spark Issues in Marriage
It is a fact that more or less, there are 40% of married couples ends up in divorce. Fortunately for some, they are still together after so many years. Though relationships are composed of two dissimilar personas and they experience numerous conflicts, the under mentioned are the common things that spark fight in marriages.
Money. It does not matter how much money the couple has. Money is one of the usual causes of marital disagreement. Two different people have dissimilar outlook in money. Both of them has a unlike style in dealing with their money for some reasons that they grew up in two unlike settings; not to mention the fact they were brought up together in a different way. The matter on how to use up the money is one of the potential disagreements. Furthermore, is the concern on how much should be keep and how the expenses for the bills should be allotted. It is important for the couple to discuss about money matters before conflicts happen. With this, you are giving each other a chance to view both your views and you also can talk about on how to cautiously use up the money together. Budget and financial planning is a must and both parties should be guided accordingly to reach a usual goal for the family.
In-laws. Conflicts over the in-laws usually happens during the early years of marriage. Being interfering in the relationship may be felt by either of the couple. Husbands and wives may disagree the length on how long their parents will be staying in their house. Another issue known is that sometimes, the spouse is too reliant with their parents. All these issues can arise conflicts in the relationship. And there is no other remedy than this but to talk about the feeling of how they feel regarding the concerns on inlaws. The things that you have tackled about should be appropriately understand by each of the party.
Children. The decision in extending the family by having a child or children should be an understanding between the couple. One may oppose of having a child because of work reasons. Extra issue that may uprise with the extra child in the family is the fact that it is an extra costs in the family. Every probability should be tackled in order to prevent blaming and regrets in the end.
Gender differences. We know that men and women have different characteristics. And even if they are brought in similar family values, each has different values and upbringing in so many features. For example is that women are more open and raises more issues compare to men. On the other hand, men prefer to avoid conflict and usually minimize the strong emotions that they have. The obvious difference between men and women usually leads to disappointment and misunderstandings.
No matter what the conflict is, the couple only has one thing to do; this is to improve on how they should communicate with each other specially if certain issues arrive. The couple should know the right methods on how to deal with the issue that they are having. The wives should be very careful on how they bring up conflicts. Bringing up issues should be done in a nice nd gentle way. On the other hand, husbands should be very sensitive on how they respond to what their wife ways. It is each other’s obligation to understand and respect each other specially during issues in order to avoid hurting either of the party. Conflicts is impossible to go away in marriage, all you have to do is learn how to deal with it in a way mature and professional people do.
