Benefits of Healthy Marriages

A healthy marriage is something that we have to reach and anticipate because a healthy marriage is not just a luxury item. Marriage experts have verified that having a healthy, happy, fulfilling marriage benefits all family members.


 


Below are the advantages of healthy marriages for kids and youth. Researchers have found many benefits for children and youth who are nurtured by parents in healthy marriages, compared to unhealthy marriages, including the following statistics:


 


Children of a couple with a healthy marriage are more likely to attend college. This is because they do not get easily dispirited and they are not so much concerned on emotional problems knowing that they have their parents when they go home. They also feel encouraged with the fact that their family is intact. Another benefit is that kids that is under a healthy marriage has a greater likelihood to succeed academically. Unlike children whom parents undergoing a divorce, these kids cannot concentrate decently because they are also caught up with the problems of their parents. Children with parents who are still intact are also known to be emotionally healthier. This is because they have less insecurities comparing to children with separated parents. Another advantage of having a healthy marriage is that their kids have a less probability to abuse drugs or alcohol and to commit criminal behaviors. This is because they have their parents who are around to guide and correct them. And when the kids see their parents at home having a happy relationship, they do not have a reason to get into drugs and such. Furthermore, children under parents with a healthy relationship are also expected to have successful marriages. The children follow what they see in their parents, so they are likely to have a lower probability of getting divorce when they grow up. They also have a better relationship with their mothers and fathers. Children who are directed properly with their parents are less likely to become pregnant in their teenage years.


 


A healthy marriage between couples also benefits the performance of their kids at school, even the emotional and physical being of their kids. So if you really love each other, both of you will work hard to save your marriage not only for your happiness but also for your kids. Seeing your children's victory makes us feel very fulfilling as well


 


There are also many benefits of a healthy marriage for women. Researchers have found many benefits for women who are in healthy marriages, compared to unhealthful marriages, including the following statistics:


 


Women under a healthy marriage are emotionally healthier knowing that she has someone that help her with any concerns that she is facing; may it be problems with the kids or money matters. And when they are emotionally safe,these women also has a greater probability to attempt or commit suicide. These women are also recognize to be more wealthy; the financial expenses are divided by both parties. In addition, women are also physically healthy when they are under a healthy marriage.


 


Last but not the least, a healthy marriage also has benefits for men. Researchers have found many benefits for men who are in healthy marriages, compared to unhealthy marriages, including the following statistics:


 


Men in a healthy marriage are identified to live longer. This is because they intent to be healthy all the time for their wife and family. They always think to live longer so that they can spend more time with their family. Like his kids and his wife, men who have healthy marriage are also emotionally healthy because of the fact that they have a wife that they can talk to whenever they are low-spirited.


 


A healthy marriage is good for the health of the family members because a healthy and happy family result to a stress free environment.
